The human rights organisation, Africa4Palestine, congratulates and welcomes the election of the new Mayor of Johannesburg cde Dada Morero.

This is a wonderful development for the Palestinian solidarity movement as the disgraced previous mayor was an open supporter of Apartheid Israel.

Our new mayor, Cde Dada, is a well known supporter of human rights and the Palestinian people. Morero has previously hosted various Palestinian delegations in South Africa, he has travelled to the Palestinian West Bank and is a supporter of the boycott of Apartheid Israel.

Last year, Dada Morero, together with the ANC in Johannesburg, put up the world largest Palestine billboard (click here).
